1. What does full-service moving include?
It covers the whole move end to end: we bring the materials, pack every room, disassemble and protect the furniture, load and transport, then unload, rebuild, unpack, and haul the empty boxes away. The idea is that you do not handle any step of the move yourself, from the first box to the final walkthrough.
2. How much more is full-service than a basic move?
Full-service costs more than a truck-and-crew move because it includes the packing labor, materials, and unpacking that you would otherwise do yourself. What you are buying is your time and the certainty that it gets done right and on schedule. We quote one transparent all-in price after a walkthrough so you can weigh it against the à la carte option.
3. Can I do my own packing and still use full-service for the rest?
Yes. Full-service is the all-in option, but you can keep any part of it. Plenty of people pack their own clothes and books and have us handle the kitchen, the furniture, the move, and the unpacking. Tell your coordinator which steps you want to keep and we price only the parts you hand us.
4. Do you unpack and take the boxes away?
Yes, both. Unpacking and box removal are part of full-service: we empty the boxes onto your shelves and counters and take the empty cartons and packing paper with us, so the move ends with a finished home instead of a garage full of cardboard.
5. Is full-service available for long-distance moves?
Yes. We handle full-service long-distance moves across state lines under USDOT #3617767, with packing on one end and unpacking on the other. It is the most hands-off way to do a cross-state move, since you are not packing in one city and unpacking alone in another.
