1. How much do packing services cost?
Packing is priced by how much there is to pack, how much of it is fragile, and how many rooms you want handled. Materials factor in too. A fragile-only job is a fraction of a full-home pack, which is exactly why we quote after a walkthrough and show you the full price before any boxes are taped.
2. Can I pack some of it myself and have you do the rest?
That is partial packing, and it is what most people choose. You handle the easy rooms like bedrooms and clothes, and we take the kitchen, glassware, and anything fragile. It is the cheapest way to save the most time, since those rooms are the slow, breakable ones.
3. Do you bring the boxes and packing materials?
Yes. The crew arrives with boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and specialty cartons for dishes, wardrobes, and TVs. You do not need to source materials ahead of time, and the materials for what we pack are part of the quote.
4. When should the packing happen, the day before or the day of?
For a full-home pack we usually come the day before so everything is boxed and ready when the movers arrive, and loading starts on time. A small partial or fragile-only job can often be done the morning of the move. Your coordinator sets the timing based on the size of the job.
5. Do you offer unpacking at the new place?
Yes. We can come back after the move and unpack, set things on counters and shelves, and haul away the empty boxes and paper so you are not left staring at a wall of cardboard. Add it to the quote if you want the move to end with an unpacked home rather than a packed one.
