Moving across the country is stressful. Royal Moving made things so much better. I read horror story after horror story about every moving company on Yelp, BBB, etc. Finally I just went with my gut, which was guiding me to Royal Moving. I was afraid of standard things like items breaking or being charged way more than expected, but mostly I was nervous about my things arriving in a timely fashion so I could begin my new job and feel organized. I will say that the total was about double my original estimate, but I think it's probably a good practice to assume this. Whatever they use to estimate cubic feet is just honestly low. For example, I said I had a large dresser and they estimated it at half the cubic feet it actual was when I did the math. So I knew this would be the case. BUT, the movers were friendly, impressively efficient, and careful. My things were packed with so much care and they arrived only three days later (Chicago to DC) in perfect condition. The cops pulled up to question us as soon as they arrived because I didn't reserve street parking (hard to do when DC requires 5 days' notice and the moving company gives you 1...) but the movers were willing to work with me and the police to find a legal place to unload without having to add an additional long carry charge. All in all, my things arrived when I needed them and in perfect condition and it was well worth the cost. I highly recommend Royal Moving.

These guys were incredible. There was no lag at any point. I had gotten the house painted and recarpeted before the movers came, and they left the house immaculate. No hidden price garbage, just the rate we agreed upon. I couldn't give a more glowing recommendation.

We got started a little late but all and all I was very pleased with this company. The movers were hard working, efficient, clean and polite. And the price was definitely right.

I have used this company for more than 5 years. I've never had delay when the truck says he's going to come a certain time. very punctual. your items are carefully handle your items packed very good on the truck very. Price very affordable and reasonable. My neighbors used them and was very pleased
