We hired Royal Moving to move our 4 br/3 ba home from VA to AL, full-service. In summary, it went off without a hitch. My priorities were quality and price: I was working with a stipend, so once the job was big below that amount, I was laser-focused on finding a high-quality, reliable company. In my experience, the reviews here are right on. Vlad managed the process from start to finish. She was easy to communicate with and highly responsive along the way. The packing and moving teams who worked on our move were pleasant and hard-working. We were fortunate to have a dedicated truck, so our house was packed on Tuesday in VA and unpacked on Wednesday in AL. The actual weight came in slightly higher than the quote (I'd known we had removed some of the quoted cushion to fall within my stipend), but Vlad worked quickly with her colleagues to make sure the company could keep the cost within my limit. Aside from two examples of very minor damage that wasn't worth following up on, everything arrived in the same condition as when it was packed. All in all it was an outstanding experience, and Vlad is exceptional!

We used these guys last year for two separate moves and they were great for what they charge. The second time they had trouble getting a truck so they were a little late otherwise I would've given 5 stars. I will add that our first move last year was out of a 6 bedroom 6 bathroom 5400 sq ft house and they handled it well. They aren't a full time moving company but they are great as I said before for what they charge. In hindsight I wish I would've had them help me get packed!
