COI-compliant moving across Portland and the metro. We issue certificates of insurance before move day for any building, employer, or property manager that requires one, so your move is never blocked at the door.
Many buildings require a certificate of insurance before movers are allowed in. We have it issued in advance.
A move that the building actually lets in.
Many apartment buildings, office towers, and commercial properties will not allow movers on the premises without a certificate of insurance naming the building. Show up without one and the move is blocked before it starts, costing you the day and the deposit.
Royal Moving & Storage is fully insured and issues certificates of insurance before move day, named to your building, landlord, employer, or property manager. We confirm the building's exact requirements in advance so nothing stops the crew at the door.
A certificate of insurance, or COI, is a document proving the mover carries liability and cargo coverage. Many buildings require one naming the building before they allow movers on the premises.
2. Can you issue a COI for my building?
Yes. We issue certificates of insurance named to your building, landlord, employer, or property manager, with the coverage amounts the building requires, before move day.
3. How far in advance do you need the building's requirements?
The sooner the better. Share the building’s insurance requirements when you book so we can confirm the details and issue the COI well before move day.
4. What happens if a mover has no COI?
If a building requires a COI and the mover does not have one, the building can refuse entry and the move is blocked. We issue it in advance precisely so this never happens.
5. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Royal Moving & Storage holds Oregon Motor Carrier Certificate #280015 and carries full cargo and liability coverage on every job across the Portland metro.
